BCS Modem Transfer Station (MTS)

What it Does ?

The Modem Transfer Station (MTS) is used to download collected data in the SilverGuard Wand via modem to the computer which is running SilverGuard Security Guard Monitoring System software (SilverGuard software). Simply place the wand into the MTS, if the red led is not on, press the reset button and the data stored in the wand will be automatically downloaded via the modem to the computer

Using the MTS

The MTS must be connected to your modem’s serial port when transferring data via modem to SilverGuard software. The power adapter must be connected to the MTS as well.

LED Indicators

The red LED turns and stay on when the MTS is connected to a modem, it turns off after a transfer to the PC is completed. The green LED comes on when the unit is powered up and flashes when data is being transferred from the wand.
